Applications
- WILKO ASTM B280 Tubes are Standard Specification for Seamless Copper Airconditioning & Refrigeration Tubes (ACR). Tubes come mainly designated as Type L.
- These pipes are manufactured using pure copper deoxidized with phosphorus, leaving relatively high residual phosphorus content. They are mostly available in hard drawn temper but ALL tubes are pre-cleaned with Nitrogen and capped to maintain internal cleanliness under normal conditions of handling and storage.
- Product under this specification can be furnished in either O60 (soft annealed) or H58 (drawn general purpose) temper. Coils are normally in O60 temper and straight lengths in H58 temper.
- Very popular in Commercial, Residential and Industrial ACR applications.

Application
- Standard copper tubes of type L are used for residential and commercial uses.
- Some specific uses include interior above ground plumbing, domestic water, service and distribution, fire protection, solar, fuel and oil, HVAC, compressed air, LPG gas, snow melting and vacuum systems.
- Copper tubes of type L can be used with sweat, compression and flare fittings.

- Modulus of Elasticity: 2.46 x 106 psi (17000MPa)
- WILKO copper pipe is manufactured using only the highest grade phosphorus deoxidized copper (DHP) complying with UNS 12200.
- Combined with modern extrusion technology, the seamless pipes are produced in KOREA to meet stringent demands in plumbing, air conditioning and refrigeration applications.

- WILKO copper pipes are of the highest quality and manufactured to the strictest standards.
- Positive material identification (PMI) test conducted on every WILKO import.
- Seamless structure facilitates maximum flow with minimum internal resistance.
- Full length of 6 meters and each pipe is capped at both ends to ensure cleanliness during delivery. Also available in pancake coils of 15mtr per vacuum pack.
- Storage – each pipe is permanently stored indoors, minimising oxidisation and ensuring cleanliness prior to sale.
- Resistant to ultra-violet exposure. Pipes will not degrade as a result of exposure to sunlight.
- Non-flammable and impervious. Environmentally friendly.
